Aberystwyth’s Aleppo Vigil took place on Chelsea Manning’s 29th birthday – strangely connected in that among the cables Chelsea released to WikiLeaks were many relating to Syria, as a place where violent insurrection could be fomented.

Street Choirs Leicester 2016

Great festival, thanks Red Leicester for being magnificent hosts and organisers! Here is an account of our Saturday, starting with busking and ending with the evening concert, the songs being ‘Lives in the Balance‘,  ‘Mark my Words‘ and ‘Sosban Fach‘ (Nest’s version).

10th Anniversary Concert

Come one, come all. We’ve been singing for peace, justice and sustainability for 10 years! Come and celebrate with us at our concert. 7pm, 30th April at the Morlan. Entry by donation, all proceeds to MSF. Refreshments available.

10 year anniversary

It is 10 years since Social Forum Cymru in Aberystwyth and the formation of Côr Gobaith. 2016 is another busy year for the choir, especially with Red Leicester hosting the Street Choir Festival, which we’ll particularly want to support, but we still find time to celebrate!

Concert at the Morlan on 30 April at 7 for 7.30pm followed by partying and singing till we drop – inviting all our ex-members, friends, comrades and supporters to celebrate with us: PLEASE COME.

Past and present members meet on Friday 29 April for drinks, catch up and reminiscence, then we all sing together at Street sing at 11am on Saturday 30 April, party in the evening and Sunday we sing, talk, walk……
